Behold the latest bi-level beauty to grace Essex, brought forth by the team behind Indochine and ACME. Tijuana Picnic’s retro vibe and inventive Asian-influenced Mexican fare join together for a true downtown experience behind closed (and cleverly hidden) doors. Enter the main floor, a backlit dining area surrounded by spacious booths with a runway of communal tables as a centerpiece leading to a small bar in the back. With a range of antojitos and pintxos to large family-style plates, there’s something for every appetite and palate. Attaché menu favorites include a “puerquito” - a pork chop marinated in coconut milk served with thai chimichurri - and a trio of mako shark skewers. Stay tuned for news on Tijuana Picnic’s lower level lounge, slated to open later this month. Contact your Attaché for details and menu picks.
