Stephen Starr strikes again with the opening of his brand new Bal Harbour brasserie, Le Zoo. The 200-seat space, which formerly housed La Goulue, joins sister restaurant Makoto in Starr’s efforts to reshape the dining scene in the Bal Harbour shopping destination, and possibly take over the world while he’s at it. French-inspired cuisine will shine in Starr’s rendition of its natural habitat, from bubbling cocottes of soupe a l’oignon gratinée and the obligatoire steak frites to trout amandine and more via the bustling kitchen helmed by Executive Chef Craig Wallen. The opening comes on the heels of Starr’s latest venture, the Continental in Miami Beach, where foodies flock for the al fresco dining, retro vibe, and international fare. We recommend hitting both relatively soon. Contact your Attaché for reservations.
