THE COOK’S ATELIER
An epicurean getaway in Burgundy -- where do we sign up? Founded in 2008 by mother-daughter duo Marjorie Taylor and Kendall Smith Franchini, The Cook’s Atelier is a culinary destination located in the epicenter of historic Beaune, offering hands-on cooking classes, market tours, seasonal suppers and workshops throughout the year with the goal of educating local and international visitors about seasonal ingredients, classic French cooking techniques and Burgundy’s wine capital. The group recently added a wine boutique to the breathtaking property, featuring an ever-evolving collection of hand-selected, small production wines from Burgundy and the surrounding regions. The Cook’s Atelier has been increasingly well-received since its founding, inspiring guests to adapt its philosophy and recreate the experience at home.
