This summer, master the art of jewelry making with the world-renowned experts of Van Cleef & Arpels. For an exclusive two-week period, L’ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels New York will transport the experience of the school’s Place Vêndome classrooms to the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. 12 different courses will offer participants the opportunity to study gemstones, jewelry design, and watch anatomy, also touching on important themes in the history of jewelry. Look forward to a series of evening conversations and weekend family workshops in addition to the class roster.
The foundation of the L’ÉCOLE program is to provide the interested participant with a progressive, learning experience throughout a tightly knit selection of courses and themes. The experts — made up of artists and designers, jewelers, art historians, gemologists, and watchmakers — lead classes and workshops in a friendly, stimulating environment, with an emphasis placed on interaction and sharing.
