Flatiron, meet industrial chic with a side of cocktails on tap -- and a whole lot in between. Neighborhood newcomer Kat & Theo officially opened its doors just weeks ago, flaunting a complete revamp of the former Greensquare Tavern space featuring a beautifully appointed 70-seat interior designed by Dara Young and Anna Neidermeyer. Cue the mood lighting.

With a killer team behind the bar and semi-open kitchen and a Mediterranean-inspired menu fit for all palates (adventurous and not-so), Flatiron’s newest hotspot is off to a very promising start. Cozy up to a brick-walled banquette with a Via Maris milk punch (yes, the one on tap) to sip with a view of the inner workings of the kitchen -- the perfect way to pass the time while waiting for Chef Paras Shah’s duck with foie torchon to hit the table.
