Coconut Grove’s got its groove back with Cypress Room vet Michael Beltran’s latest venture, Ariete. Founded in partnership with Jason Odio of Brickell’s own Sidebar, Ariete takes comfort dining to new heights with a family-friendly Sunday supper-inspired feel and a roster of wood-fired house specialties rooted in new American traditions and innovative techniques -- perfect for a meal shared with family members or a laid-back date. Start off with Beltran’s tea sandwich to whet the palate, followed by a beautifully composed venison tartare or grilled quail, segueing into heartier fare from the wood grill (think smoked pork chop or half Green Circle chicken), saving room for tart orange donuts with coriander citrus sugar and wood-grilled pineapple marmalade. If that’s not appetite-inducing, we’re not sure what is. Contact your Attaché for reservations and more menu picks.
