The East Village’s hottest cocktail bar has upped the ante with the official unveiling of its back-room dining concept, Dinnertable. Pass through the Garret East for a pre-dinner cocktail (namely the Detroit Dancehall with Rhum Barbancourt Blanc and 3 Star, beet juice, lime, orgeat, and vinegar salt rim or Cheap Furniture with malted Aquavit, Geijer glogg, Bartlett pear, lemon juice, egg white, and cinnamon) before ringing the doorbell behind a curtain in the back for access to the no-reservations dining room. Former Quality Italian husband-and-wife chef duo Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito helm the open kitchen, serving up Sicilian-inspired classics like eggplant carpaccio with farro, spicy peanuts, and mint, potato and pecorino dumplings, a saltimbocca of braised veal, guanciale, and black garlic, lasagna al bolo for two, and more -- with plates designed to share, it’s almost obligatory to taste as many dishes in one sitting as possible.

Please note that Dinnertable accepts parties of four or less and is open Tuesday through Sunday. Contact your Attaché for details and more menu picks.
