Calling all cocktail aficionados: Beaker & Gray is officially Miami’s hottest destination for the shaken, the stirred, and the “strange.” Here’s a peek at our favorites on the tri-concept menu:

SHAKEN
Of the six stunners in this category, we’re partial to the “Lavagave” -- with Don Julio Blanco, Fidencio mezcal, lavender, egg glair (a byproduct of egg white usually used artistically), grapefruit, and vanilla bitters, this soft-hued frothy wonder is served in a coupe with minimal garnish and combines smokiness with salinity atop an herbaceous bouquet in perfect harmony.

STIRRED
When going stirred, the “Billy Club” is not to be missed. Monkey Shoulder blended malt scotch, Solerno blood orange, Drambuie, and Lillet Blanc join forces for a beautifully balanced booze-forward sipper, available all day/night at two for $18. Great for sharing, or not.

STRANGE
Given that this category has only one cocktail, we’d be hard-pressed to choose any other. The “Inside Outside In” features Santa Teresa Gran Reserva, Luxardo Maraschino, and Madeira, highlighting the base spirit’s notes of nutmeg, caramel, vanilla, and coconut in contrast to the Maraschino’s cherry bite.

When it comes to food, Beaker & Gray’s got it down pat, open now for dinner with lunch on the horizon. Small plates stand out with bar bites, shared plates, and cold dishes ranging from green papaya glass noodles and black mission fig ricotta to Wagyu skirt steak and oxtail with sweet potato, making way for larger dishes of the hearty variety. We’re talking pork with mofongo, short rib with daikon, tiger shrimp risotto, and more. Contact your Attaché for reservations and more menu picks.
