Speak easy: there’s a new secret cantina in town. Añejo’s Angelo Sosa brings the TriBeCa restaurant’s lower level to life with a clandestine cocktail club, Abajo. Luxury Attaché was among the first on the scene to experience Sosa’s inventive cuisine, a fusion of traditional Mexican concepts with Manhattan’s street food culture in an urban, graffiti-clad space. Menu highlights include a torta burger and fried guacamole (yes, that’s now a thing) and a list of equally eclectic cocktails for good measure.
