The Blue Ribbon brothers strike again with the latest addition to their dining empire, a cozy Upper West Side incarnation of the two decade-old brand in a fresh yet familiar concept. Cozy brick and wood meet industrial accents of piping and Edison bulbs, a warm atmosphere proving perfect for indulging in elevated American comfort food with a few international influences here and there. Kick things off with a butcher board of artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and housemade pâtés, making way for spit roasted specialties and stovetop staples from a “chicken fried” short rib to “The Ribbon Steak,” an 8-ounce hanger with peppercorn sauce and an obligatory side of frites.
