VOLUNTEER AT THE WESTSIDE THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY DINNER

Bringing together an inter-faith collection of groups and individuals in a wonderful celebration of Thanksgiving for over three decades, this free, annual sit-down Thanksgiving dinner also features free haircuts, blankets, clothing, medical services, and a children’s carnival.

This not-to-be-missed holiday tradition features a 5K run/walk for competitive and casual runners, as well as walkers; a 10K for competitive runners only; and a non-competitive Kids Run. 100% of race proceeds support the YMCA Financial Assistance Programs benefiting community residents.
TURKEY TROT LOS ANGELES

L.A.’s largest turkey trot returns this year, with a scenic 5k and 10k route through the historic streets of Los Angeles. This annual tradition, now in its 6th year, also features a Widdle Wobble for the young trotters. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, this event benefits the Midnight Mission, an amazing organization that offers a path to self sufficiency to those experiencing homelessness.
