San Francisco Turkey Trot

Enjoy an invigorating fun run before the parades, football games, and feasting. The annual San Francisco Turkey Trot features three routes: a 5-mile Turkey Trail Trot for runners; 3-mile Pilgrim Promenade for walkers; and a 100-meter Kid’ Gobbler Chase.

The sixth annual Illuminate SF transforms San Francisco into a shining gallery of light. This Bay Area holiday event celebrates 36 dramatic, eco-friendly light art installations, including new iconic works in the Castro and Yerba Buena neighborhoods. Visitors are invited to embrace the power of light through free neighborhood light art tours, artist studio visits and neon walking tours, a stargazing party at the Presidio and more interactive experiences.
